Add more security to your Xbox Live account with Security Proofs

I’ve talked about the threats to your Xbox Live account before and to this day it remains a very real possibility.  There are people out there who would love to fool you into revealing information that could lead to compromising your account.  Some people in the world just love to be the bad guy so it’s essential that you protect yourself as much as possible.

If you didn’t know, Microsoft added a new security element to your account called Proofs.  I have them set up on my account.  They’re simply extra layers of protection for your account that are easy to set up and give yourself even more peace of mind.  You can add a mobile number, alternate email address or trusted PC.

I recommend it because you can never be too safe out there.

    This is great. I’ve heard so many security issues with XBL, this is good to know. Gonna implement some of these.
