DOOM 3 BFG Edition announced by Bethesda
DOOM 3 BFG Edition is coming folks. And for those of you who haven’t seen The Rock in the movie version of the game, BFG stands for “Big Fucking Gun”. I must say right now that I loved DOOM 3 and I enjoyed the movie. Yes, I’m aware that I might be the only one to have liked the movie. The game though was just weird and creepy. Mars, monsters .. big ass guns .. what more could you ask for?
DOOM 3 BFG Edition features the original game and the Resurrection of Evil add-on pack both of which have been re-mastered. The package also includes hours of new content in the never-before-seen single player story, The Lost Missions. This is seven new levels of heart-pounding action they say.
“DOOM 3 was enthusiastically embraced by gamers worldwide at its release,” said John Carmack, Technical Director at id Software. “Today, the full experience has been enhanced and extended to be better than ever, and is delivered across all the platforms with a silky smooth frame rate and highly responsive controls. New support for 3D TVs, monitors, and head mounted displays also allows players to experience the game with more depth than ever before. We think shooter fans everywhere will love it.”
Check out the trailer below.
As a special bonus, DOOM 3 BFG Edition will also include the original DOOM® and DOOM® 2 games, making it the definitive collection of the revolutionary games developed by id Software, the studio that pioneered the first-person shooter genre.
DOOM 3 BFG Edition comes to the Xbox 360 this Autumn.

I always wanted Doom 3 but didn’t have the cash so I just played the demo over and over. Hopefully the price it right and I’ll finally play this.
