Which BlackBerry Apps are the Most Fun?
Even the company famous for its business phones knows how to loosen up every once in a while. Here are some great, just-for-fun apps for BlackBerry that will help you waste time between meetings.
BlackBerry Facebook
This is probably one of the first apps you will want to get for your BlackBerry. It is very fun and easy to use, with a brand new navigation grid interface that allows you to get around the menus more quickly.
You can also use BlackBerry’s Facebook for chats – a feature missing in previous versions – so you can chat with your friends while on the go. Just make sure you aren’t caught chatting in class.
Angry Birds
Warning: Do not attempt to play this game unless you are prepared to be maddeningly addicted. You will most likely spend more and more time playing this simple, but increasingly difficult, game as the levels get harder.
You play by using a slingshot to throw birds at pigs. The goal is to annihilate all pigs on the field. As you advance, new birds appear. Some have special powers you can activate. This game is funny, popular and very, very addictive. If you’ve never played it, it’s definitely worth finding out what the fuss is all about.
Pandas vs. Ninjas
People who like Angry Birds seems to like this one as well. The game takes place in a puzzle where the panda (you) try to wipe out ninja strongholds. You accomplish your goal by throwing a variety of critters with different powers at the ninjas. The nefarious ninjas are guarded by various stone, bamboo, and metal structures.
The game has five scenarios for you to play, including caves, a bamboo forest, a desert, an oriental temple, and a snowy mountain. You get higher scores for doing more damage and using fewer pandas.
Each level becomes progressively harder and you are given new and improved pandas to throw at the ninjas.
BeBuzz – LED Lights And More
This fun little app uses the flashing LED light on your BlackBerry to alert you to exactly who is trying to call you. You can customize your contact profiles by color to clue you in.
