Lack of games for 2012?
Are you feeling a bit perplexed at the lack of big titles slated for the Xbox 360 this year? Or rather the lack of anything solid from Microsoft concerning its 2012 lineup? We know about Halo 4 and Fable: The Journey but what about any other exclusives? Microsoft responds to the lack of titles this year.
In a new interview with Game Informer Magazine, Microsoft Studios Corporate Vice President Phil Spencer stated that the important aspect of the Xbox 360′s future is “quality and impact, not number of releases in a year.”
“Creating core IP (intellectual property), as many first-and third-parties have seen over the years, isn’t an easy thing,” stated Spencer. And it’s the “equal amount of sweat equity and heart” that he feels will drive the company’s games into the future. He added, “it will continue to be something that we focus on with new partners like Crytek and new people that aren’t announced yet. We do think that it’s fundamental that core gamers look at 360 as the place they want to play games.”

Some rumors for Xbox720 at E3. This is definitely a possibility, especially after seeing ALL the sales on Xboxes this holiday season.
Microsoft would love to get a jump out on Nintendo and Sony.
I wouldn’t mind a slowdown in games. It seems like they have been churning out too many. Personal opinion of course.

I’m with Boston on this. Give me some time to catch up on my library lol. The only people who really care about this are the Mike’s of the world, who use this information as basis for being a trolling twat. Everyone else is busy playing whatever they have, until whatever they want comes out. Who cares that Microsoft themselves don’t have a lot this year either, there are still loads of multi-platform games coming out.

true .. there are a ton of games yet to be played .. i know personally i have tons of XBLA games too yet to play lol

I’m actually waiting for Diablo 3! (PC) But they do have a console team and that’d be really neat to see on the 360.
I’ll most likely be playing this game for years to come!

There’s a decent amount of great games coming out this year but none of them are exclusive which is the point of this article lol.
Like Boston mentioned the Xbox 3Trillion is coming soon so I’m guessing the top tier dev’s have already switched Gears to the future and all we’ll be getting is games from smaller company’s trying to establish them selves, big name games they can milk and games from company’s close to the console makers they were asked to keep within this cycle to keep us happy until the next console.
I also have a few games to finish and I missed almost all the top games from last year so a break would be cool so I can get up to speed on all these games.
