Final Fantasy XIII-2 demo inbound January 11
Get ready to rock the sprites! Okay, I know Final Fantasy is well past its weird looking sprite days and is darn near motion picture quality now. Square Enix just confirmed that there is a Final Fantasy XIII-2 demo inbound for you Westerners out there. Details of the demo are said to be posted soon so stay tuned for more on what you’ll be playing throughout the demo.
“Today we’re excited to confirm that a FINAL FANTASY XIII-2 demo will be coming to Xbox 360 from January 11th 2012, PlayStation 3 (EU) from January 11th 2012, and PlayStation 3 (NA) from January 10th 2012.”

This was smart of them, lots of people are on the fence after 13, never played a FF game or just hate on RPGs because the rest of the internet does. I hope this game does decent for Square Enix, I love them and totally want to marry them.

OH QUESTION! Does anyone know if the clear save from FF 13 does anything in 13-2?
I played 13 on the PS3 and it flashed me some sexy yellow lights so I lost my save since all data is locked to the console (Flapping dumb farty mc fartins…), if it’s something awesome I’ll totally play it again on the 360 since that’s all I have now.

It certainly does USB. I think an original save file will unlock a theme, an in game item, and some sort of scenes to recap the first game. That’s what I can gather from the announcements made on it anyway lol

Thanks for the info, as Mr. Blade said i thought you would know. I most likely won’t be able to get 13-2 at launch so I think I’m gonna go through 13 again on the 360 or get a heat gun and try to fix my PS3 temporarily to get all my data back. Honestly though my inner crack head wants some achievements, no one believes I enjoyed/beat 13 lol.
