Holiday Gamer’s Guide 2011

This year’s Holiday Gamer’s Guide will be slightly different.  Instead of a multiple page breakdown, I’m gettign right to the point and mixing things up together like a good old bowl of gumbo.  Everyone should know the proper things to search for when shopping for the gamer in their lives be that a significant other, sibling or friend.

Some of the games listed are rated M so be sure you know what that is before you head out to grab it. The ESRB rating M is for mature and contains content for those 17 years of age or older. (and sometimes I’d suggest even older)

BloodRayne: Betrayal

Fans of the sexy vampire need not betray their fandom and get this XBLA title.  It’s the best we’ve seen Rayne in a long time.  She gets to bite the necks of people and suck their blood for crying out loud!  I like the art style a lot in this game.

It’s currently 50% off in the Marketplace so there’s no better time to unleash your inner vampire.

RAGE

I wasn’t sure about putting this one on the Christmas list but I think it deserves to be because you all need to enjoy just how beautiful this game is.  id Software created a wonderful world to rage in.

Saints Row The Third

Who doesn’t need a little chaos over the holidays?  THQ and Volition have served up their best Saints Row to date.  And it’s probably the most insane one!  Did I mention it has boobs and streaking in it?

Batman: Arkham City

Do I really need to justify the one game that has managed to receive an Untouchable score here on the site?

Rochard the Game

Sure it’s a PlayStation Network title and most of you may not have one but if you do, download this game!  The gravity physics alone warrant a purchase.

Kinect Sensor + Kinect Sports 2

Kinect adds so much to your gaming experience that it’s hard to even describe unless you just try it yourself.  Remember when it was so much fun grabbing some friends and playing Guitar Hero over the holidays?  Well Kinect makes it that much more fun over a game of Dance Central 2 or Kinect Sports.

GameStop is selling the sensor for $109.99 the last time I checked.

Microsoft Points

There are dozens of things you can find to spend some points on.  There is new DLC for Arkham City, Saint’s Row 3 and more.

Rage is $19.11 on Amazon. That game’s price has just plummeted.

I can’t believe you didn’t post Skyrim, which will probably get Game of the Year.

Than again, you HATE RPGs LOL
