Arkham City DLC inbound, but I want story additions!
Batman: Arkham City is an untouchable game. My friends at Rocksteady are “steady” on the new content train and anticipate more for fans in December. The latest word is that the new DLC will feature the Batcave in some form as well as Joker’s Carnival and the Iceberg Lounge. These things of course will be new areas for Challenge Maps.
I’m all for adding new content to an already impressive game but I want new things to do in the game and not just in the Challenge Maps. I want more story or side missions to explore in Arkham City. I’ve unlocked just about all of the challenge areas in the game and I’ve played about 10 of them. I just don’t have the desire to complete the same, repetitive challenges despite new environments. It’d be different if the challenge areas had objectives beyond getting the highest beat down score or fastest time. They’re fun to do but nowhere near as fun as being in the city.
You’ve done a great job Rocksteady but I would really love more than anything if you gave me more missions to do in Arkham City … kthxbai.

I agree, more side stories would be nice! But i like the challenge maps too.

I couldn’t agree more. I don’t care about challenge maps myself. I got the Robin ones when I bought the game and played them once. I much rather some story content. Perhaps some Nightwing or Robin story. What was Robin up to while Batman was cleaning up Gotham?
