Call of Duty Elite service problems, status updates
Well you can’t blame the Elite servers from being unable to handle millions of COD fans can you? You can? Okay well blame them because thousands of Call of Duty Elite would-be registrants are left waiting in the cold much like they were waiting for the game at midnight.
“We are proud to say that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 has launched and millions of people are already playing online. Registration requests for our new live service Call of Duty Elite are exceeding even our most optimistic expectations, which is creating a bottleneck and some players have not been able to register.”
Watch the status of Elite here and keep up to date on when you’ll be able to register. Don’t worry because all of your stats and such are safe so whenever you can register, you’ll be able to share with all your internet friends.

yeah, all the sign ups are not available so far. online play is fine though. smurfin’ awesome so far!

Hmmm a bottleneck? Is that a technical term? I think the correct explanation should go a little something like “We are cheap as hell and didn’t buy enough bandwidth to support the traffic because we are trying to milk every cent off this that we can. After we are done exploiting the cod series we will fire everyone associated with the game and disband the dev group. Then comes the fun part we will find your favorite game series at that time buy the entire development team and repeat the entire process over….Damnit, i’m probably gonna get fired now for publishing the activision business model.”
