Weapon stats from Gears of War 3, Sawed-off adjusted
I use the sawed-off shotgun in Gears of War 3 very effectively. I’m a little disappointed that Epic Games has decided to adjust the weapon to cater to the people who can’t use it properly. Effective today the sawed-off will be adjusted. Oh well .. it is what it is. Seeing these stats is still pretty cool.
The Gnasher is everyone’s favorite weapon. It’s accounting for 45% of all kills during Quick Match play. I’m not a Gnasher fan but this should make Dangerdoll smile I guess. The Lancer is definitely taking a backseat but not like the Hammerburst. No one is using it apparently as it comes in at just 4% of kills.

Check out more stats on Gears of War 3 right here. My take on all of this crying about the sawed-off is that you should learn how to combat against it. It’s not like the weapon can’t be defended against. It takes 5 years to reload so in that time, kill them! Or make use of the long range weapon if they’re trying to roll and pop you.

LOVED the hammerburst in the previous Gears games. They weakend it in Gears3 IMO

any player can use it properly they just have the self respect and skill not too

sure it can be beat but it takes a large bit of skill and quick thinking to, which one the sawed off end, just runs like an idiot and mostly gets the kill

99.9 percent of the time its used around corners, so they shot and run to where you cant possibly get them until their ready to fire again in about 5 seconds

any five year old can use the Gnasher, Lancer and Hammerburst too .. if you’re good enough any of them will work .. i’d argue the Gnasher is the most overpowered weapon ..
grow up Thomas .. you make no sense. get better or gtfo of Gears .
