Here are my suggestions to them…
Dear Gearbox/Randy Pitchford… Borderlands is my favorite styled shooter ever! (Due to the look/feel/humor/variety/RPG elements, and Co-Op)
However, I have some very good suggestions to improve #2… Bosses, please keep them BIG and throw a very TINY one in for laughs (Make it/him fast and hard to soot) Make the loot given after defeating a boss rewarding (Not mostly crap you’ll never use like the first game) Ramp up the difficulty for bosses, but please don’t make them crazy hard. Just give them a good pattern to figure out = Like those found in Vanquish.
Skill Trees… Please go into greater depth with the skills. I would like to see a little more RPG elements worked into Borderlands.
Loot besides weapons… Please add in more Armor upgrades for the characters, and what about Hand to Hand weapons? Like Exploding Brass Knuckles, Toxic whip, and a flaming spiked bat?
More elemental variety to the weapons please.. like Turn to Stone/Ice, and Microwave… Like the characters balloon until they explode.
Difficulty… When you died In the first Borderlands, it took a certain amount of money away. However, that did very little to make someone care if they died due to selling guns for and making money a breeze. Please take a much larger % of money away in Borderlands 2 to actually affect the difficulty.
One other thing, less is more when it comes to the amount of guns… Most are not worth using, and are a waste of time. Please makes most of the millions of guns useful… Thanks for this opportunity.
This is a reason why I always say you guys are the best… To listen to the fans is the smartest thing any developer can do nowadays. = It just about guarantees a sale by including us into your game.
Thanks again.
Mike
