Remember that one time in Microsoft camp when I told you I was headed to Windows Phone Land and my Windows Phone 7 (WP7) experience with Xbox Live would be documented?  And then I mentioned how the bed totally got covered in marshmallows which led to the camp patrol saving that one girl from the tub of honey?  Okay I probably left out the tub of honey story but I know I told you about getting my hands on a WP7 smartphone and seeing what it had to offer with Xbox Live.  The WP7 I received was the HTC HD7.  (isn’t it awesome how I doubled up on the 7′s?)

To start the journey, I took a few photos of the HTC HD7 and the goodies that came along with it.  If you’re jealous right now, I totally understand.  But know this … I will enjoy this phone not only on my behalf but on your behalf as well.  I’ll even enjoy it quadruple on your behalf.  Deal?  Cool.  The HTC HD7 and all the goodies were provided by Microsoft so that makes it even more cool eh?

The HTC HD7 has a 4.3″ screen so that’s mobile perfection for gaming.  I’m excited about earning Achievements on the phone and seeing how it stacks up against the iOS and Android gaming that I’ve done for a while.  Yep, I’m pretty excited.  It’s going to be ridiculously cool having my Xbox Avatar in my pocket and making it run around.  Did I mention I’ll be able to check out what you nerds are doing on Xbox Live while I’m on the train home?  I’m ready to bust out some ilomilo,  some Cro-Mag Rally or some Tentacles.  I’m ready to game!

Yep, it’s totally filled with awesome sauce.  Anyway, stay tuned Alice and don’t blink because I’m just about to jump down the rabbit hole towards my Windows Phone 7 journey.  You don’t want to miss me do the Futterwacken do you?
