All Zombies Must Die!…better them than me!
There’s nothing quite like being bounced over the map by a zombie creature with a beer belly. The good thing about all these status effects for weapons and zombies is that you yourself can combine them to see what works best as weapons against the zombies. Fancy a little fire and radiation? Go for it! I have to point out though that your weapons don’t have unlimited ammo. Be careful to watch the ammo count because you can easily find yourself with just your fists and a ton of zombies to kill.

One of the more interesting aspects of the game is the need for your team to set up a base camp. As you progress through the game you’ll have a chance to take over and set up base. Your base is where you alter your character and form a safe haven. I wasn’t sure if you’d be able to access the base at any moment though so it might be a challenge making it back to the base in tact.
A crazy element of the game that I spoke with Aaron about is that you’ll never be able to kill all of the zombies. They respawn infinitely and you just have to make it to the end of a level. It’s weird in saying all zombies must die when they actually can’t. I’m not too sure I like that but if killing massive amounts of zombies is your thing, you’ll be right at home. Oh wait .. who am I kiddin’? Bring on the undead! I can farm XP all day!
All Zombies Must Die! has some really simple and fun gameplay. It has a lot of town to explore and a lot of zombies to kill. The animations in the game had me doing a “double” take. I remember running with my character and at the time he had a kitana blade. He was running just like a samurai getting ready to slice some heads off. And when you pick up an Uzi, you actually hold it gangsta style sideways. It was too funny.
I have to give props to Double Six for making an insane 4-player co-op zombie-killing, toxic-spilling thrill to play. And before I end, I have to say that they also created one of the coolest USB drives I saw at the event.
There’s no word on a release date or price yet so stay tuned for more when I can get my hands on that info. Until then just prepare yourself for the zombie apocalypse because it’s coming later this year and when that happens you know that ALL … ZOMBIES … MUST … DIE!
It’s a good time for fans of 4-player co-op action!
