Duke fights, Xbox 360 still king
The lightweight version of the NPD continues to come out and we continue to fuel fanboy wars across the country. I’m not surprised that Duke Nukem Forever managed to get into the top 10. There were a lot of people waiting for this game. I’m surprised though that the highly anticipated and much talked about Child of Eden did not. Everyone was raving about this light show but it appears it only managed 30,000 or so copies sold. Shadows of the Damned faired even worse with a combined 22,000 copies over the PS3 and Xbox 360. Wow.

Microsof’ts Xbox 360 console was the top dog in hardware again and they claim to be the only console still kicking butt. Yay Xbox! With the way the Xbox 360 continues to reinvent itself, I’m not surprised. It sold over 500,000 in the month of June.

That’s a real shame about Shadows of the Damned. That game was very good and very underrated.
