This news should make one of our Square Enix supporters (I’m looking at you Astrid) very happy.  The highly anticipated zombie thriller, Dead Island, will be distributed by Square Enix.

“We’re thrilled to be partnering with their dedicated and talented team and look forward to collaborating with them in order to bring Dead Island to gamers.”

I’ve been looking forward to Dead Island for a very long time.  What does Square Enix distributing the game mean though?  Absolutely nothing.  The game could be distributed by the Long Sharks of Anaheim for all I care.  As long as the game is distributed, I’m good.
