Will Nintendo force Microsoft’s hand?
So the big N is going to have a playable demo of its new console at this year’s E3 Expo. Did you ever expect Nintendo to be the first of the big three out of the gate this time around with a new console? They’re claiming that it will be more powerful than both the Xbox 360 and PS3. That’s a lot of big noise coming from Nintendo but would anyone really doubt them?
I’ve always wanted to see how Nintendo would do with a true next-generation console (or rather one that embraces high definition etc.) It looks like I’ll get that next year as they’ve decided on releasing this console pretty darn soon.
What will Microsoft and Sony do? Do they have to even do anything? I’d imagine that they would be forced to do something because no one wants to be the last one out of the gate with a new console. I’m wondering if Microsoft is playing it safe though to see what Nintendo will show only in order to copy whatever they’ve done. It’s happened before.
Can Nintendo survive the console market with a high price? They’ve always been the “cheap one” so to speak when it comes to price but with the tech that they’re claiming will be in their new console, I can’t imagine they’ll be cheap anymore. But who knows…they’re the kings of doing what you don’t expect.
What say you on whether or not Microsoft will show a new console this year or soon?

I’ll wager the opposite … Microsoft will trump Nintendo by revealing their next console at E3 2012 a few months before Wii 2 launches, thereby stealing alot of Nintendo’s on the shelf early adopters …

This does not surprise me at all that they will be first to market with the next console. Lets face it, without the motion gaming its just a next gen Gamecube. Like it or not beyond the gameplay, most people like graphics and Nintendo was seriously lacking there. I bought into the hype of Wii in the beginning but honestly mine has not been turned on in over 7 or 8 months. Curious to see the new console and what it has to offer. Been a huge Nintendo fan since I was a kid so I am pulling for them to release something amazing.

i want to see the quality of the graphics, presented in the new console, again will they keep with their kidsy target audience or will they breach into more adult graphics
