Gears of War on PS3?, Epic would not mind
How would you like to live it up in COG TOWN while playing with that awful PS3 controller? Although the Gears of War franchise is exclusive to the Xbox 360, Epic Games said they wouldn’t mind seeing the title on the PlayStation 3 console.
Mike Capps, President of Epid Games said …. “Do we wish we could take all those Killzone [players] and Resistance fans on PS3, and get them to say ‘Gears is awesome’? Yeah, sure I’d love to ship the Gears trilogy on PlayStation. That would be fun. I want to be there; I want to be everywhere.”
“We definitely own Gears of War. This is our franchise, our IP,” so the possibility is still there. However, he added, “Time and time again, when it came down to figure out what we do next with Gears, we sat down with Microsoft and they’ve given us really good, compelling reasons to work with them again.”
What would it do for the success of the Xbox 360 if another of their exclusives (especially Gears of War) were ever to grace the PS3?

I think Gears would still sell more on the 360 just because more people would play the multiplayer on XBOX Live than the Playstation Network.
I’m not interested in seeing Killzone or Resistance on the 360 at all.

Let them have it lol, and while they wait for the game to install, they can get a taste of how slow GoW gameplay will be

hmmm… only if we get the Uncharted or God of War series (i.e.- the only “good” PS3 games…….)

well dude… the amount of processing power needed to run a games like god of war 3 and uncharted 3 or 2 is above the current xbox 360 hardware…
capabilities …because these games are of 40 and 60 gb and u r comparing them with a console which runs on a 8gb dual layer dvd rom…
having 3.2 ghz processor and 512 XDRram.. no no no… nt enough dude…
mass effect 2 has come to ps3 now so as will the GEARS OF WAR 4 WILL…

Yes Mr. Benjamin can be very compelling can’t he? It’s no secret micro$oft uses their income from 360 to keep dlc for games like black ops delayed. Are we even going to get the second dlc? I personally don’t care but who’s to say they haven’t kept exclusives being exclusives because of a large sum of cash.
