RIP, Microsoft pulls 360 Laws Picture Packs
Many of you have emailed and commented on YouTube asking about downloading the picture packs (number 1 and number 2) for the 360 Laws. I was all set to do an updated video about where to find them but after further inquiries to the publisher who maintains the content for me, my fears were confirmed.

Without any notice or otherwise attempt to inform, Microsoft elected to simply remove them. Or they’ve placed them in a spot that’s so hidden that no one will find them. I’m leaning towards the removal. I’m happy to have spent nearly 4 years in the Marketplace though. Our content was the last to go. However, they could’ve said something instead of allowing gamers to end up at dead ends but hey, that’s how it is sometimes. I understand the focus towards Avatar content now and the complete disinterest in anything community related going up in the Marketplace…I do. I really appreciate the risk Microsoft took on giving community content a platform to even exist.
Now after ending focus on community content, I wonder how long it will be before Gamerpics bite the dust in general. The picture packs still remain one of my greatest accomplishments with everyone here. I even had designs for more to go up. *queue sad face*
Those of you who downloaded the content now have some exclusive collector’s edition content! Be proud..show it off! I believe there is a viable market for creating Avatar content based on the community so I’ll see how far I can go with that. It will of course help if you guys and girls expressed your interest in it. I’ll make a “post mortem” video about the content soon so that those of you searching for it on YouTube will know that it was killed off.
Again, I want to send a thanks to Microsoft and Disruptive Publishers for making the opportunity happen in the first place. It was great especially the quarterly checks. (smile) And I want to send the biggest thanks to those of you who supported the content by dowloading it, using it as your Gamerpic and telling your friends about it! You guys and girls are simply awesome for supporting the picture packs.
If you’d support Avatar content from Unscripted 360, then let me know via email or here. Gaming is always about the “big fella” and it would be nice for the little guy to continue having a platform to at least seem relevant. There is about a .001% chance of it happening but I’d still like to know if you would just in case I somehow manage to own Microsoft and could reorganize things the way I think they should be.
What say you….would you?

And this is why digital download is BAD. The holder can pull the material ANYTIME. THey did it with Out Run and other games.
RIP
Glad I bought them when I did

I have never bought any avatar items in my life, but you can bet that I would buy me some U360 avatar items for sure. Count me in.

This upsets me. It seems Microsoft is caring less and less about their dedicated community.
I was in talks with a company to get some avatar clothes out the door when Avatars were first announced. Looks like that idea went down the drain.
Gotta look out for the little guys, MS!

I bought a new xbox, went to redownload that gamer pic….and can’t. It is no longer available to be redownloaded even tho I spent the money to purchase it. Bullcrap. I love it, still use the NOOb one to this day. ^_^
