Crysis 2 multiplayer demo!
Well we’re finally going to see how Crysis 2 stacks up on consoles tomorrow. I’m of the opinion that this game will kick much ass but on PC. There’s a multiplayer demo for the game coming up tomorrow. And yes it’s for Xbox Live Gold members only.

The Crysis 2 Multiplayer Demo will feature the “Skyline” map , and two game modes; “Team Instant Action” and “Crash Site”. “Team Instant Action” pits two teams against each other as they kill as many opponents as possible to earn higher ranks. In “Crash Site”, players will battle for control of alien drop pods, earning points by guarding their pods and keeping enemies at bay.
What say you?

I played it last night finally and actually enjoyed it over all. Did not get to play for long so I did not notice any real issues to be honest.

Ok, I will need to retract what I said. Was playing tonight when I noticed the game was super laggy. It also felt like there was frame rate issues or something funky going on. Could be promising, but I hope some of the things I saw tonight are just beta related.

Ya, I am think more SP on this game. Might play a little MP but they have some polishing to do on it for sure. Tried again before I went to bed last night and I was no where near as impressed as I hoped to be. Graphics are lacking and there was tons of lag.

Just downloaded this now. I agree, they need to do a bit of tweaking on the MP front.
The multiplayer is alright for the demo, however it does seem super laggy. I Fired a whole clip, from the assault class, into people perfectly. Hit marker comes up and everything, however on their screen from the killcam none of the shots even hit them.
The MP does feel quite slow too, feels like it takes 2 minutes to find someone and maybe kill them. Hopefully these are just issues in the demo that they’re looking at and taking detailed analysis from.
On the plus side I think that the map is awesome. Good mixture of cover spots, vantage points and routes throughout. There is also a good amount of equipment available to you through the suit. Use it wisely though, it all comes from the same power, which thankfully has a recharge.
It has the potential to be an awesome multiplayer game, and I can’t wait to see the finished product.
