Final Fantasy XIII-2 teaser trailer (English)
Coming on the heels of our latest Community Speak article about Final Fantasy XIII-2, is the official trailer for the game. It’s such an odd title to a game but then it’s Square Enix and they’re pretty odd themselves. I’ve never really gotten into the series but it has a completely insane legion of fans.

Yes, the trailer starts off exactly where XIII ends lol. I would recommend that anybody who cares about spoilers, should avoid this. Or you could skip to 0:43 and see the brilliance that is a hint of XIII-2
Speaking of XIII-2, let me explain the title. It should be known that the main numbered Final Fantasy series, is a collection of non-related games. Of course they share some of the same classic elements, but nothing else is connected as each game is released. This changed in 2003, when Square Enix released their very first sequel – Final Fantasy X-2. It would be natural to assume that a sequel to Final Fantasy X, would be Final Fantasy XI. But Final Fantasy XI is a completely different game. As Final Fantasy XIV is different to XIII. So the ‘-2′ literally means Part 2
The trailer I love. It’s great to see Ali Hillis (also from the Mass Effect series) back portraying Lightning. She voiced her perfectly. It seems they are even keeping their word, and trying to be true to Final Fantasy fans. There is a neat set of armour (with feathers, cool characters always get feathers), beautiful swords with fancy effects, and even an electric guitar theme playing over it. This is what FF fans lap up lol, but I reckon those haters will still hate it
