More mass for Mass Effect 2
I know plenty of you have enjoyed taking Mr. Shepard out for another spin in Mass Effect 2. BioWare is apparently “aware” of the fact that you enjoy heading back to get more of the game so they anticipate releasing more downloadable content soon. There is no official date yet or any listing of what to expect, but at least we know it’s coming.
“The Cerberus Daily News will begin a hiatus on January 24th, finishing its run of one full year. Daily postings will cease except for three weeks in 2011: a week of posts will precede a downloadable content release, and two more weeks will lead up to the release of Mass Effect 3.” – BioWare
I suppose now is a good time to kick the new year off with a push to finish the first game at least eh?

Ok, BPD, I played through the first portion of the game again. Still not feeling the controls but I am getting used to it. Going to keep playing and give try my best to finish it.

By first part do you mean that first planet you land on? Where you first contact te Geth and meet Ashley? The game picks up ALOT after that. I was like you and didn’t play after that first part. Came back almost a year later and finished it, discovered why was great about it.

Ya, thats where I am at. I was tired and feeling under the weather last night so I made it through that part and after I awoke I saved it. Plan on paying it a bunch more tonight. I am almost back to where I quit last time or close to it. Need to push past that and see how good it gets.

Yes that part is def really slow. Once you get access to the Presidium and can explore on your own it opens up a lot.

Nice, that is what I am looking for. Right now I feel like a sheep being lead all over the place. I like more of the free roams and choosing my own path to be honest. I know they let you choose your input back when talking but does it decide the direction you go. Right now it did not feel that way but I am expecting it to change.

Seriously, once you can control your ship, you can go to any planet you wish. You can take any of te main quests in whatever order you wish. It’s very open.

Nice. That is what I was hoping for. I did not play any more last night. Played some of my Black Ops single player instead. Plan on putting in some good hours this weekend though.

Ok its official. ME is not for me. Tried it twice and just could never get into it. Time to move on to new games.
