Quake Arena Arcade coming December 15

Quake Arena Arcade is coming to Xbox Live Arcade next week.  It introduces the definitive, competitive first-person shooter to a new generation of gladiators.  Frag up to fifteen of your friends in six game types over Xbox LIVE, including ‘Deathmatch’, ‘Capture the Flag’, and ‘Harvester’ modes.

Experience QUAKE like never before with over thirty classic maps, twelve Xbox-exclusive arenas, HD and Widescreen support, and a brand new Single Player campaign.  Okay so that’s the press release description.

    quake was like one of the first MP shooters out there, right? I remember playing just the orignal quake and this quake game that added x-men charaters skins to the game. so many memories.

    Someone on U360 way back LOVED a similar FAST paced FPS I forgot who though LOL. Maybe Law I’m not sure. They bought the game that came out for 360 that was MP only.

    Now if they can bring Descent on the XBOX Live arcade (I attempted to port it about a year ago with the XBOX Dev kit, as Descent is open source now, but had no luck), I will likely never be seen by my friends or family again. I’d revert to spending all my time in front of a screen like I did in my high school years, whether in the PC lab at school or at home after school.

    the only fps that came out at launch that i remember were condemed, perfect dark and quake 3 i think
