All hail the mighty Floridians right?  Well, perhaps not but you’ll find a good bit of interesting tidbits about one of our resident Florida community members!

Tell us how you came to be known as x352x pH.

Well I live in Ocala, FL (slOcala to us natives ) which is in the area code 352.  Now the pH part has many connotations ranging from potential hydrogen (the chemical term) to the oft quoted line from Harold & Kumar. “Patrick Harris?  No, common misconception” 5 gold stars to anyone who followed that last part, haha.

What is your life like outside of gaming?

I work a full time job as a criminal research analyst for an undisclosed company and I am also a full time student.  I graduated high school in 2009 and I currently attend the College of Central Florida in Ocala but soon will be transferring to the University of Central Florida in Orlando to continue pursuing a degree in sports medicine/athletic training.  My hobbies besides gaming include SPORTS, and I love my Dallas Cowboys (along with Deacon!) and Miami Hurricanes!

What are your thoughts/opinions on COD: Black Ops?

All bias aside (picked it up at the midnight release) I think it is a giant leap forward from Modern Warfare 2.  While it may not measure up to the nostalgia gamers still feel for CoD4, personally I believe it is the best in the series so far.  Treyarch managed to take the best of their work from World at War (Nazi zombies) while improving upon the multiplayer aspect of Modern Warfare 1 & 2. The only potential downside to this game would be the short (but action-packed) single player campaign which may leave something to be desired for some gamers.

You pay visits to different forums, tell us what was the strangest thing you have come across?

More funny/snarky than strange: “You’ll have to throw away your TV, Xbox 360, game disc, and controller and replace them all. Then start a new account. This happened to my cousin and that is the only way to fix it.” – A response on an x360a forum.

If you had a chance to be a character from any of the games ever made, who would it be?

Hmm, I think it would have to be Link just because he’s so awesome and he always has Princess Zelda fawning over him.  Oh, and I WANT the master sword.

Which title is getting the most playing time on your Xbox 360?

Right now I’d have to say it’s between CoD: Black Ops (Blops for those of you on U360 reading this, lol) and Rock Band 3. They are both awesome games! 

How often do you find time to game?

I usually am able to get at least a couple hours in a night, on the weekends there’s no telling.  I’ve been up all hours of the night playing Nazi zombies and on the weekends.

What is a typical gaming session like for you?

It’s usually pretty chill.  I hang out with a lot of the guys from U360 online and I occasionally game with some coworkers and friends, nothing too hardcore.

If there was anything you could change or add to the Xbox 360, what would it be?

Hmm, I don’t think there’s much besides the obvious Blu Ray deficit. However, I just don’t think that’s a realistic possibility as Microsoft would never pay royalties to Sony for the addition of Blu Ray players on the 360; but hey, we can always hope right?

Ok. One game. One shot. Who would you play against, who wins and what game are you playing?

Chuck Norris. Guitar Hero 3. Chuck Norris obviously wins because he doesn’t even need a guitar to play, but it will be an epic experience nonetheless because all experiences are epic when you are in the presence of Chuck Norris… or else.
