Xbox Live Rewards…fight!
Remember that one time in Xbox Live camp when the thought of getting rewards for simply doing what you might normally do on Xbox Live was the hot topic? Well Microsoft just took you back to camp with the official launch of the Xbox Live Rewards program. Check it out right here.
Most of us are out of luck on most of the things that currently offer up points. I’ve already done the Netflix thing. I’ve already renewed. I’ve already made my first purchase on Xbox Live Marketplace. I guess the only thing I can look forward to scoring points on are surveys and whatever specific Marketplace content you have to purchase.
This program is actually something you have to sign up for so remember to click the “Join Xbox Live Rewards” button to join. You can keep track of your rewards at http://rewards.xbox.com/.
How do I receive the Microsoft Points I earn through Xbox LIVE Rewards?
Xbox LIVE Rewards Points equal to or greater than 100 will be automatically deposited into your Xbox LIVE account each month. It may take up to 30 days for the points you earn to be deposited into your account. If your points total is less than 100, the points will be held as pending until 100 total points are reached and deposited into your account.
Points must be used by June 30, 2012. Yes, they expire.

yeah i agree too, retro awards would be nice. it just not fair for all the original xbox gamers. only giving rewards to the new people jumping on the xbox bandwagaon, is unfair.

Like all of youz I’ve already done most of that and don’t expect Microsoft to give points to the millions that also did most of this already even though that’ll rock. I look forward to what this becomes in the future.

yeah, it sucks that the people that have been with 360 since launch have no bonus for this. especially for each person that had to send in a console 2 or 3 times

You reallycant complain I mean they didn’t have to do this. 20 points a month, 240 points a year? That’s only $3 and probably all I’ll get. Hopefully the special promotions will lead to some interesting stuff. I haven’t got anything from opening the presents but maybe illget lucky!
