Fallout: New Vegas, 5 million pay for trip
Well despite all of the issues that have plagued Bethesday’s Fallout: New Vegas, fans couldn’t get enough of the game. Bethesda is reporting that the game has shipped 5 million units worldwide.
“We are delighted by the reception Fallout: New Vegas has received from fans around the world,” said Vlatko Andonov, president of Bethesda Softworks.” Despite the large launch quantities for this title, we have already received substantial re-orders from our retail partners, underscoring the tremendous popularity of this highly entertaining game. We believe Fallout: New Vegas will be the “must buy” title for gamers throughout the holiday season.”
Were you one of the 5 million to get this game? How has your trip to New Vegas been?

I’ve not been able to put Fallout NV down since I bought it. Its really good, and I haven’t experienced too many bugs either. Well worth my money.

the bugs are really with the pc version. its a fantastic game. probably the first one where your decisions REALLY, and i cant stress that REALLY enough, impact the outcome of the game

I loved it from what I played so far but I’m waiting for the next patch to restart and play through it since I hit it major bug. It’s funny how random these problems are, I had zero problems with Fallout 3 when everyone else seemed to but NV is killing me.

I didn’t buy it, but i’ve always said the sheer size of the world you play in make QA and bug finding that much more difficult. The time needed to play and beat these games makes them worth the cost 5 times over and bethesda (publishing) is top notch in my book…i will be getting this game soon.

I agree with what Pilex said completely. I am definitely picking this one up when I have time to play it. Already have a ton of games I need to play through at the moment, but I will get this one for sure. I will probably pick it up around the week of Christmas since I am off that week.

Finished my first play through the other day and love the game. The story is much better than 3 and you really have to make some tough decisions. The ending of my playthrough went one way, so I will play again to see how it goes upon making other decisions.

thats exactly what im doing now deadly. it just blew my mind how much your decisions actually change the game play in this one. love this game. recommend everyone playing it at one point.

I’m about to hit a new play through tonight!
The game has issues but not nearly as bad as Fable 3, that game is horrid.

I’m not into Fall Out, this game’s style is just boring to me… it looks nice, but the gameplay just isn’t for me.

Yeah sometimes RPG’s can be the toughest to get into because of travel time. I have fallen asleep with the controller in my hands many many times. RPG’s however provide a depth and character building aspect not present in most other game types. Gotta give somethign to get something I guess…
