Kinect and Ellen, Microsoft revs up marketing
With all the media buzz about Kinect lately that could only mean one thing…it’s launch time and Microsoft is getting some use of its $500 million.
Ellen DeGeneres is definitely being a little “generous” with the love about Kinect. I will say this about Ellen. She did a much, much, much, much better job of actually knowing about the sensor than Oprah did. Sure she gets half the viewers but I’d rather (as a gamer) have it fed to me by someone I can sort of believe.

That young lady sure did get jiggy wit it lol. I wish they didn’t cut the NPD numbers right when Move and Kinect are being rolled out, I’m interested to see the numbers. Microsoft is doing a good job of getting the word to people who don’t give 2 shits about the Xbax 380 or whatever that game box is called.
I wonder how much that little ad cost Microsoft…

Actually one of the better jobs marketing for it I have seen so far to be honest. My kids cannot wait for Dance Central.

Ellen is FAIL, what is wrong with you BPD? It’s ok I wasn’t trying to hurt your feelings, but you can probably just “dance it out” hahaha. As far as the marketing it makes sense to get the parents informed so they know what to buy the kids…what better place to do that then 2 of the shows ridiculously followed by millions and millions of spoon fed cattle.
