Kinect meets HSN, comedy genius inside
I have to give up it to Joystiq Xbox for posting this madness. I’ve never actively done anything on the Home Shopping Network but I know enough to know that they sell you all kinds of things that they have absolutely no idea about. Advertising dollars usually dictate what is featured on this network and then the “hosts” do what they can to learn all about it before they try to sell it to you.
With all of that said, you guys and girls have to see this! Not only are they calling the Xbox 360 Kinect a game but they’re also selling it for $429.95 with 5 easy payments plus S&H. (hey they’re proud about being the only network offering 5 easy payments!) Is it the additional Dance Central game that’s covering the $130 additional dollars?
Don’t get caught up in the fact that that particular Kinect 4GB bundle retails for $299.99 elsewhere. “Don’t go running to the video stow errrr I mean video store”. (ha)
Home Shopping Network you are comedy gold. Obviously the host doesn’t know that much about it so I’m giving her a hard time. But come on…she says they’re giving you a controller with the bundle but “obviously you don’t need it”. Genius! Uh yes HSN you do need that controller. And they’re giving you a 30-day trial to Xbox Live Gold but we all know it comes packaged with the console. I guess it’s cool that they’re throwing in an HDMI cable though. That’s what makes HSN different. (wink)
What say you about the Xbox 360 Kinect game? And just to clear things up, you don’t have to say “Xbox Kinect” before giving commands. You only have to say “Xbox” and then the command. And please don’t even ask me what I think of the two people playing the demo. Kinect is going to do wonders for YouTube.

ok first of all, did anyone else see when the guy says im jumping back in. there is still only 1 person in the raft. LOL
the item says kinect bundle with 2 games. Kinect adventures is already part of the deal, so this should not count. Dance central is the other game. I would expect another game with this deal.
so hsn is adding 1 month of gamefly, HDMI cable, and cleaning doctor
gamefly 1 month= $15
cheap HDMI cable on amazon = $2
Cleaning docotor= ? $5-10 ?
total = under $30
hsn is charging about $80 extra LMAO

Holy poop…. I’ve seen them advertise things before but I guess it hurts more because it’s a product I dig. I love em and QVC from their easy pay since that’s how I got my home theater but… OMFGBBQ, WOOOOOOOOOWWWWW DUDE!

WTF I am embarrass to be a gamer right now after watching that. I hate seeing what they offer with the price. I doubt they are adding as much has they are advertising in the bundle. When I got my elite there was a HDMI cable with it. So most of that is probably already in the box when you buy it.
I bet most of the people that are buy this cruddy bundle are grandparents shopping for there grandchildren. I just have to shack my head at this.
