Splatterhouse screenshots and soundtrack
Jason Voorhees is back! Oh wait I mean Splatterhouse is back! I hope I wasn’t the only one who played this game religiously back in the day. I was a menace with the hockey mask! NamcoBandai just release some new screenshots that show a variety of gameplay including Berserker Mode, side-scrolling segments, and various acts of unfiltered primal aggression you’ll find in the game.
And if you’re one of the five people interested in the soundtrack of the game, then you can check that out too. The box art is a bit underwhelming to be honest. Maybe it’ll change before the Novemer 23rd release date.

Splatterhouse follows college student Rick Taylor as he embarks on a mission to rescue his girlfriend, Jennifer, who has disappeared after entering a mysterious run-down mansion inhabited by an elusive scientist, Dr. West. Rick turns to a mystical sentient mask that promises to give him the power to reunite with his beloved Jennifer.
Full of desperation, Rick dons the “Mayan Terror Mask” and is transformed into a raging juggernaut, unleashing unadulterated violence and destruction upon anything that stands in his way.
Sound fun? Ready for some Friday the 13th-like action?

“Student Rick Taylor [embarks] on a mission to rescue his girlfriend, Jennifer, who has disappeared after entering a mysterious run-down mansion inhabited by an elusive scientist, Dr. West.”
It sounds like the plot of an SNES platformer… until you read the music track listing, and see the title.
Resident Evil + Final Fight + Rock n’ Roll Racing…

Splatterhouse is a beat ‘em up video game currently in development by Namco Bandai Games… Enslaved isn’t made by Namco, just published.

Btw, Enslaved will also fail to sell well
