Gears of War 3 delayed until Fall 2011

This is definitely not the way I wanted to start my Friday and weekend.  Microsoft has decided to move the launch of Gears of War 3 from April next year to the end of the year to make it the “marquee title for the holiday season”.  Noooooooo…KAAAHHHNNNN!

I seriously wanted to get some COG TOWN on next April.  I suppose though that this will allow an incredible amount of time to really polish it up.  But what do I have to look forward to in April now?  Damn you marketing and PR trying to focus on holidays and not my fandom. 

Does this mean there will be no Call of Duty title next holiday season?  I doubt Microsoft would want Gears of War 3 to go up against it.

    All that marketing hype and GOW3 isn’t coming till the end of next year. SUCKS! You would think since GOW2 was 2-3 years ago they would have the 3rd installment ready to go.

    But I do think COD MW3 is coming out around the same time.
