Get 800 Microsoft Points as a thank you from Microsoft
It’s not hard being a gamer these days. There are way too many games to keep up with and the prices on these things surely don’t help. No one ever says thank you these days for spending your hard earned allowance or for convincing the wife that your anniversary isn’t as important as attending a midnight release.
Well Microsoft is attempting to at least say thank you in a way that any gamer can identify with…more Microsoft Points…800 Microsoft Points to be exact! But (and you know there’s always a but) you have to spend 2400 Microsoft Points in October to get that thank you gift. It’s Microsoft’s little way of saying thanks for spending more money.
The 2400 points can be spent on XBLA titles and/or game add-ons. Spend it on whatever title or game add-on you want as long as it totals 2400. Easy enough eh? You can buy Case Zero, Hyrophobia and the New Robot Revolution DLC and be done.
Fine Print
Purchase at least 2400 Microsoft Points worth of Xbox LIVE Arcade and/or Game add-on content between 12:01 A.M. Eastern Standard Time (EST) October 1 and 11:59 pm EST October 31, 2010 and receive 800 Microsoft Points added automatically to your membership. Limit one gift per person. The free points will be deposited automatically into your Xbox LIVE account after the end of the promotion period. Please allow four weeks for delivery, on or around November 30, 2010

I will be taking advantage of this for sure. Already have quite a few things I want to pick up. Might as well do it now and get the 800 free points back.

Yeah, I’ll probably do this. There’s some good stuff coming out this month.. although I wish I would’ve waited to buy the new Borderlands DLC lol =/

Well I got 1200 more to spend. Picked up Comic Jumper. Not bad. Liked Splosion Man better so far.
