Call of Duty: Black Ops Co-op will have ZOMBIES!
One of the best things about Treyarch and World at War was the Zombie mode. I’m happy to announce that they’re taking things and kicking them up an extra notch with Black Ops with kick ass zombie action up to four-player co-op gameplay! Now I wasn’t going to pick this game up on release but with this news (although I’m sure we all knew), I’m seriously thinking about it. Let’s go November 9th!
“Zombies have been such a hit with our community that we were committed to bringing brand new zombie experiences to Call of Duty: Black Ops,” says Treyarch Studio Head, Mark Lamia. “We’ve taken extra special care to retain the essential ingredients of our Zombie game, and have also crafted a nice surprise for the fans.”
What say you zombie fans out there?

Today’s news follows the announcement that four updated co-op maps from Call of Duty: World at War will be made available as part of the Call of Duty®: Black Ops Prestige and Hardened Editions, along with the premium edition Steelbooktm Case, custom Black Ops limited edition medal and an exclusive Black Ops Avatar outfit.
Gamers can also experience an all new co-op game in Call of Duty: Black Ops Multiplayer with Combat Training. Up to six players can rank up in this dedicated and exclusive multiplayer mode battling against enemy AI.

I will be picking this game up. Not near as excited as I was in the past for Call of Duty games but I am glad they brought back the zombies.

I really enjoyed Call of Duty World at War so I’m hoping this game will be just as good. I don’t think it was a big suprise they were adding zombie mode. But it’s more reason for me to pick this game up!

Not too much a fan of Zombie Mode.
Better question, will it have Spec Ops in it like MW2? If not then I will be disappointed by it. Spec Ops was a great feature to MW2.

Are you freakin serious… sorry to all you fans but spec ops was realy bad online was laggy even for the host and you could only play with friends. Infinity Ward do.not put enough effort into there games they make so many mistakes and treyarch fixes them and upgrades it all. I LOVED Zombies. Bit off topic but Treyarch beat IW by miles IW could have put some more time into MW2. I luved cod 4 tho as it was there first modern game and was different from other cods but mw2 was badly done there is so many weak points and unadvantages.

Haha, yeah I am “freakin serious” =P.
I enjoyed Spec Ops loads. It was a great feature to MW2. IW put some thought into it. They had a variety of game types to keep it interesting, such as: assault, wave denfence, elimination, stealth, driving and escort. It’s getting a bit repetitive playing the same wave defence type game modes, with the same objective of staying alive for as long as possible, on several games.
I rarely experienced any lag when playing it with my mate, but that’s not entirely the games fault, that’s online gaming for you. It can never be perfect. If you think MW2′s Spec Ops was bad for lag, try Halo: Reach’s Firefight or Campaign Matchmaking when that goes live in a few days. The lag on that is far worse than any lag I have experience on MW2′s Spec Ops.

After having spent substantial time with Black Ops, I stand by my initial impressions. The overall balancing has proven to be exceptional as there is no single “money” class to exploit or be forced to use in tough games. The maps are fun, weapons and upgrade system a blast and all of the customization available makes the game really enjoyable.
