Borderlands New Revolution available in Marketplace
Remember that one time when I told you about the new DLC for Borderlands? Well the day has come to head back to Pandora and engage in some Clap Trap Revolution! Who’s ready to level up?
Those of you looking forward to gaining some XP and leveling up though will have to wait. Gearbox have yet to release the update that allows you to go past the current level 61 to level 69. That’s supposedly on its way in October.
The content will feature 20 new missions to play as well as the ability to earn 10 more skill points, bringing the total of available skill points to 71 (whenever the level cap increase update is released that is). The size of players backpacks can also be increased by three more slots. You can get the cost and link to queue it up below.

Cost: 800 Microsoft Points
Queue it up: http://marketplace.xbox.com/en-US/games/offers/0ccf0009-0000-4000-8000-0000545407e7?cid=SLink

Still need to get this game. I borrowed it and beat it but I must own it. This game was fantastic and I still need to do all the DLC for it.

Actually, the max amount of skill points is 66 as of the new DLC. You don’t start earning skill points until level 5. 61-5=56 skill points + the 10 new ones=66 skill points. Just sayin…

say what? that makes no sense…so you can only level up to 66? whack.

No, he was saying that when you first started to level up in Borderlands you didn’t recieve skill points until you were level 5, so it wouldn’t be 71 total skill points.

[...] but that may change upon learning that it wasn’t even developed by Gearbox Software. The New Robot Revolution DLC was in fact developed by Darkside Game Studios and it was their first full production title [...]

Anyone looking into this, the dlc is ok, nothing super special. The main storyline takes about 2.5 hours and offers several side mission trees for added gameplay time. It is ok on fun level and at the risk of spoilers has arena based segments. All aspects of the game are normal, xp is available as well as all pick ups , vending and coop deliciouness. An inexpensive way to extend your love for a great game.
