Duke Nukem Forever, finally coming after “forever”
PAX 2010 had one of the biggest and most pleasant surprises to some particular fans out there. Gearbox Software, makers of Borderlands, is putting the finishing touch on Duke Nukem Forever next year! I can’t say that I was a big fan of the game way back when but there are obviously plenty of fans screaming today.

It’s been forever since the last Duke game and there was a bit of trouble surrounding the release of Duke Nukem Forever but 2K Games and Gearbox Software partnered up to save the game. It’ll release next year and it is playable at PAX this year.
“We’re in the polishing phase now. This is a game where we can not make a promise we can not fulfill,” Pitchford added. “We need to get past the shock and awe, and then we can go to all the retailers and first parties and work out a launch plan.”
What say you?
