Crysis 2 Limited, Nano editions, 360 beta announced
For those of you who didn’t have a PC that was expensive enough to handle the first Crysis, you’re in luck for the sequel. It’s coming to the Xbox 360 so you’ll have a chance to play it and find out what all the hype was surrounding the first title. EA naturally is giving you a chance to have several different versions of the game when it releases.
The Limited Edition includes bonus experience points in multiplayer, a “SCAR Hologram Decoy” that allows players to project an image of themselves, a “SCAR Weapon Skin” in digital camouflage, and an in-game Platinum Dog Tag. You can get this puppy for no additional cost so yes that means it’s the same price as the regular edition. It’s weird but I’m not complaining. It’s only for a short time so hurry and pre-order at that price.

The Nano Edition includes the Limited Edition of the game, a steel case, an 11″ statue of the protagonist atop an NYC taxi, and an art book. And all of that’s inside a backpack designed to resemble the Nanosuit. You can only pre-order from EA at a whopper $149.99.
The good news about this announcement though is the beta that is supposedly coming later this year for the 360. I’m looking forward to that actually as I was one of the people who didn’t have a fancy computer to play the first.

My sexy PC can handle Crysis 1 & 1.5 on max, 1.5 better of course. Why did you need to know that? You didn’t, sorry….
I enjoyed the game and am looking forward to teh sequel. Never really messed with the multiplayer in the first so I hope I get into the beta whenever it’s out. Crysis was truly sexy though, especially the sections with ice. I can’t wait to see the improvements in person.

I may get this. I wanted Crysis but I don’t do PC gaming. I may get the LE, but the Nano Edition looks nice but I don’t want to pay $149.
It’s really going to be interesting to see how the Crysis engine ported to the 360 does in retrospect.
