Redbox, Studio Movie Grill and NFL
What’s up boys and girls? It’s Monday so you know that means another shot of Monday Morning Scripted for you to digest. It’s the time when I go over the cool things (or not so cool things) that went on during the weekend and are slated for the coming week. First up, I tried Redbox for the first time. I was with someone and she suggested we “redbox” it so I did. It was pretty easy I guess but not something I’d continue to do. I can see why Blockbuster has implemented their own little box around town.
I say Salt with Angeline Jolie at the Studio Movie Grill here in Dallas. It was my first time at the place and I enjoyed it. I’m doing a lot of “firsts” lately and going to the Studio Movie Grill is now one of the things I can scratch off my list. Dinner while you’re in the movie is total win.
I didn’t get a chance to go to the Halo: Reach event at GameStop so I can’t report on how it was. I blame Flip though because as you may have heard, I ordered a Flip UltraHD camcorder but ended up getting the wrong one! After a nightmare experience with Flip’s customer service, I was left without my UltraHD to cover the event. But I don’t think I would’ve been able to go anyway because I had a “first” to scratch off.
The NFL season officially began last night with the first pre-season game featuring my Dallas Cowboys and come bungles from Cincinatti. The Cowboys ended up winning although I didn’t watch much of it. It’s pre-season, Dez Bryant wasn’t playing and I just wasn’t interested in seeing the starters play for a series. Roy Uno Uno is still trash by the way.
Anyway, I hope you guys and girls had a good weekend. Welcome to Monday and welcome to another week!

I went to the Gamestop event. It was beyond lame so you didn’t miss out on anything. So excited for football season though, feels like it has been far too long!

I loved how the announcers said that people were say the Williams should have carried Dez’s pads. LOL. Detroit screwed Dallas on that trade. Only good move they have made in 10 years. hahahahaha
