Madden NFL 11 demo, Alan Wake DLC The Signal
It’s that time of the year again when NFL training camps begin! I’m excited…are you? If you can’t wait for the real games to begin, then you can check out the video game form in the Madden NFL 11 demo available on the Xbox Live Marketplace today. You can queue up the Madden NFL 11 demo right here via Xbox.com.

Along with some NFL action, there is a new chapter for fans of Alan Wake. Yes! In this first downloadable content pack we find Wake facing a threat unlike anything he’s ever encountered before — and yet one he’s intimately familiar with. In order to make sense of it all, he must follow the Signal.
If you purchased the game when it released, you should have been given a redeem code for The Signal. This makes it free for you if you bought the game new. If you did not, then you’ll have to pony up 560 Microsoft Points for it.
Ready to queue up The Signal? You can do that right here.

Still haven’t bought a Madden game yet. After waiting this long I guess I’ll get my first one next gen, I held out this long so why not I guess…
I loved Alan Wake but saw where it could have been better, it’s almost like they needed MORE time. I’ll play the DLC later today on my new 360 slim! Ahhhhhh! 6-7 repairs on 1 console since launch and I’m rewarding you with buying another console Microsoft!
We totally have an abusive relationship :’(

I downloaded the Madden 11 demo and it’s actually pretty good. I’m not to sure about the Gameplay feature though. I tried it and some of the plays the computer chose worked and some didn’t. But the option is there for you to choose your own plays. I’m impressed with the presentation and the player models. They actually look like the real players! I hate to say it, but I may have to pick this up.

I think Madden needs a new developer. Maybe EA Canada should get a shot, since they develop the NHL & Fifa series. I’m not much of a soccer fan but the Fifa games always seem to be much more polished. They look better, have better animations and a much better replay system. The gameplay always seems to be solid as well. Same goes for their NHL games. NHL 11 is looking excellent.
Yet, here we are with another Madden game developed by Tiburon. It looks as outdated as ever. Still has crappy throwing & kicking animations, the same crappy replay system, etc. The series is in some serious need of freshness.
