1 vs. 100 ends after a short stint
Microsoft has apparently put an end to the 1 vs. 100 programming on Xbox LIVE. It didn’t last very long eh? I’m not sure why the decision was made but that’s how the cookie crumbles. I enjoyed the few times I played 1 vs. 100. I never won anything beyond Achievements but it was still a lot of fun.

“When we started on this journey, we knew we were creating an entirely new genre of entertainment that would be a continually evolving concept,” said Dave McCarthy, General Manager at Microsoft Game Studios. “We’re very proud of the ’1 vs 100′ team and their accomplishments, and are excited to apply what we’ve learned to future programming.”
I guess in the end it was too costly or it wasn’t producing enough cash for them. Fare thee well 1 vs. 100. I hardly knew thee. Did you guys ever play? And if so, are you sad to see it go?

They ended 1 vs 100 because they want the casual gamer to buy Kinect.
Maybe they will come out with something similar for the Kinect!
LOL

I did play it. I enjoyed it but not as much as my girlfriend did. She would kick my ass every time.
Anyway, It is kind of a shame because we wanted our friends to be able to play it with us when they came over. We thought it would happen when we heard about that Family pack deal thing.

Well I enjoyed it while I played it but I did not play it too often.

It was fun while it lasted and a great idea. It would be cool if they give something like this another go but I gedit if they don’t.

I enjoyed 1 vs. 100 a lot, but I do like trivia in general anyway. I don’t feel sad, angry or disappointed that it’s going. But I still would have enjoyed playing it again. Thankfully I did get all of the achievements

I enjoyed 1 vs. 100, but trivia games aren’t for everyone I guess.
I remember hearing how Quick Draw was the hardest achievement to obtain, yea it was for sure. Glad I got all 12 achievements for a perfect 200 gamerscore before they ended the season!
It looks like they may be focusing a lot of efforts on Kinect now, and maybe they could bring back the game to Kinect when it releases? I remember seeing an earlier trailer for Project Natal and they had 1 vs. 100 for one of their concept games.
I guess there was waning interest in the game as the season ended and there wouldn’t be much interest worldwide for another season of 1 vs. 100
