Gears of War 2, 8XP event this week

One of my favorite Xbox 360 multiplayer games is giving me even more reason to continue playing.  I don’t know about you but I can play Horde Mode anytime and have a ton of fun. 

Epic Games is going to make sure that from July 1-6 you’re at least having some different experiences with Gears of War 2.   During this time, you’ll be getting 8x the normal amount of experience points (XP) when playing online.  There are also a few changes to Horde Mode on tap.  Waves 1-9 will be infested with nothing but Tickers while Wave 10 will have everyone’s boomin’ favorite, Boomers.

I’m all in!  Can we get some COG TOWN action going on to cash in on this madness?  I seriously need to level up to 40 so I can finish off one of the Achievements in the game.  Who still has Gears of War 2 and who is up to join me in COG TOWN?

    1. just to clarify, is it 8X exp for ALL multiplayer or JUST horde mode?

    2. why is everyone flipping out? they just had 6X exp for a week lol

    me n my friend were so stoned while playin’ it, n we had no idea this was going on, we keept lookin’ at eachother like this is ridicious, then 10 levels later u think ur gonna play wack a mole with tickers then u hear BOOOOM n rocket to the face
