Monday, MacGruber, Sam, and Akrids
Another Monday is upon us folks. I had an interesting weekend that included seeing MacGruber, revisiting Sam Fisher and getting smoked by some huge Akrids. Yes that means I saw a movie and played somes games. Splinter Cell: Conviction is definitely a new take on Sam Fisher. It’s the dumbed down version but still an entertaining one. Gone are the days of being extremely stealthy and mindful of what’s around you. You can literally breeze through the game. Co-op was nice albeit short.
Lost Planet 2 has a stupid save system but it’s a beautiful game. The Akrid monsters are ridiculously huge…even moreso than in the first one.

MacGruber was pretty funny. It was definitely a bit more raunchier than I would have liked but still funny. MACGRUBER!
So what was your weekend like? Any new games make it into your console this weekend? And no I didn’t technically start Mass Effect 2 yet. I’m seriously trying to end the first one before I get started. (so ha Boston)

Finished up Alan Wake this weekend. Now I need to work on Borderlands and started playing some Red Dead Redemption as well. Both are really good.

I have Alan Wake, but haven’t truly started it yet. At the moment I’m being completely consumed by Red Dead.

I am having a lot of fun with Red Dead. My wife surprised me with it, I guess she was sick of me bitching about not having it. I would like to get together with some Unscripted folks this weekend for some Red Dead multiplayer. It is no fun with randoms, but a lot of fun with friends.
