How did you come by the gamertag Arte Venture?

Originally, my tag was “Artemis Artium.” That came across because of Artemis Gordon, from the show Wild Wild West, and “Artium” is rough latin for “invention.” I later switched to “Arte Venture” because “Arte” is what everyone calls me and I look at helping people as an undertaking which I enjoy very much.

Outside of gaming, what is your life like?

Well, I have a family and I work on a marketing team. I am no different from anyone else, I suppose. The only difference might be that I try to have fun no matter what I’m doing.

You mentioned both you and your wife game, who gets the most game time on the 360?

Hahah. That’s a tough one. I would say that award has to go to me for the simple fact that she will get aggrivated at a game and not play for days at a time.

You both also run TheOriginalGathering.com, what inspired you both to develop this website?

Well, it started as a social thread on Xbox.com, in the Castlevania: SOTN forum. It was my attempt at decreasing the amount of off-topic conversation. It worked and we started getting too big for our pants. So we had to disperse and get our own webspace after a time of playing nomad.

I noticed you have the game room what are your thoughts/opinions about it?

I think it was an interesting concept. I really liked how they gave you the option to purchase the games with dual license so you can play them on your PC and console. However, it will suck you dry if you want to accomplish everything within the game, which is why I set it aside.

What was the first game you ever played?

That’s a hard one. I want to say it was Pong but I think I recall playing Stunt Cycle first and then went after Pong. I have really fond memories of Burger Time, though. The Intellivion rocked!

What is your favorite game for the 360 so far?

That’s also a tough one. Right now, I’m playing Red Dead Redemption and it’s one of the best sandbox games to date. The Assassin’s Creed games are high up there as well.

What new/future games are you looking forward to?

Well, I’m hoping Gears 3 can pick the franchise up. I’m also very excited for Halo: Reach.

As an Xbox Ambassador has the experience been a good or bad one for you?

Well, I have not had any trouble regarding my ambassadorship. I think it’s a great program and I’m just honored to be a part of it.

If there was anything you could add to the Xbox 360, what would it be?

Probably bluray capabilities. That would make the games we already have much better because they would not need to compress them as much. Aside from that, maybe a system that allowed new players to search for people with the same interests and ambassadors in their area.

Ok. One game. One shot. Who would you play against, who wins and what game are you playing?

I would definitely like to play Modern Warfare 2 against Larry Hyrb. Who would win? Only time will tell. You hear that Larry? I challenge you to a duel! Wow, I have been putting too much time in on Red Dead. Hahaha.
