FFXIII – a preliminary finding…
Well with the speculation running wild over the past few weeks I thought I’d give you boys and girls a quick update on the FFXIII reviews that have been pouring in.
As of now Metacritic (a trusted review site that compiles multiple reviews to produce an overall score) has the Xbox 360 version edging out the PS3 version by a nose hair.. 83 XBOX360 – 82 PS3

There was much speculation as to whether or not the “graphically inferior” XBOX360 version would hold up against the much touted PS3 version. Well as of now MetaCritic says bite me nay sayers.
The buzz about lip syncing has been verified as bonk and the graphics inferiority cut down at the knees…so any of you fine folks out there that may have been faced with a little trepidation can pull the trigger with confidence. You will not be let down by the 360 version… and to all the fanboys that were jocking the PS3 version and holding on to a string of hope that their beloved JRPG would not leave its glory days of exclusive greatness, find a new subject to fake more news about.

No your wrong! Teh PS3 rockz the 360 because of the cell and bacon juice! PS3 FTW!!!! I kid lol.
I know some FF super nerds with both versions and they see no difference but the people I know that only have PS3s see a difference and the PS3 version is better lol. I have the PS3 version and I’ve seen the 360 version by a friend, they look the same…..
If you zoom in on textures and shit to look which one is better you have issues because you wouldn’t see the difference other wise. I get it if your a site and that’s your thing for readers to chat about or if you do it for yourself but stop this dumb fanboy shit internet! I’m watching you! O_O

Thanks for posting this. Nan hasn’t seen any lip syncing issues and he’s been playing for easily 3+ hours. He’ll comment later and write a review. My thoughts…
The online (solely)graphic comparisons are complete jokes.
With a game like Final Fantasy, too many fanboys wetting their
pants to try and say one version is better than the other, perferably the PS3 because we all know these same wetpanted fanboys have been crying seen Final Fantasy, supposedly, became non-exclusive. They’ve also denied the Nintendo and PC versions.
Seriously, who will be pixel judging while playing a game? Few I would imagine. PLay it on your tv in your home to get the true results.
Web graphics are scaled down dramatically over the TV HI RES version, so you will see differences. It’s just too easy to bias the results.
Finally, USB brings up my exact point, zooming into the pixels is very stupid.

My friend has the PS3 version, and I have the 360 Version..And I can safely say, the xbox version looks the same as the ps3, if not better…In my opinion.

Okay Mike left you with that, and I’ll leave you with this. Would you take Pilex’s word over it (and other people who have commented) or would you take the word of someone who hates the series, hates the game, and has zero interest in it?
“Jaggies, dithering, missing shadows, & lower res textures are far more common & easier to se on the 360 version compared to the Ps3 one.” He hasn’t even played the game to see that himself, this sentence is just copy and paste crap from other sites. Veto his opinion immediately. Just play the brilliant game for what it is

Nanakai… i’m not saying those things from my opinion… I’m basing it off the site that compared both versions, & knows far more than Pilex, or anyone else here.

Funny how my initial reply was erased… Pathetic whoever you are.
