The main reason this will fail, is the price of games.

I absolutely will not pay 240 points for a game I buy in a bundle (or play through Mame) just because I can invite the few people I know on XBL.

One problem lies in you should have charged 120 per game, and had lobbies which allowed people to join other peoples arcades and charge per coin. Allow them 15 mins of play per coin, charge for bundles of coins.

The second problem is the licenses and dates you consider “retro”. I’m 32 years old, I remember playing Centipede 1 time when I was 5.

You should have considered the 90s. And you should have considered a better licensing contract.

Then again, I don’t work for you.

The Xbox Game Room is fun but you have to pay for the games. It is better to have a friend that has it and go to their game room because to get token/coins to play the old arcade games. Most of my friends have it and they say it’s fun.

It does look like PS Home though. It would be better if we could use the game titles we currently have like a Bomber Man, Street Fighter, Uno, etc.
