Under 18? Twitter, Facebook and Last.fm are yours
Those of you yet to be classified as adults according to the social networking applications on the Xbox 360 can now breathe a sign of relief. Microsoft has opened the doors to its under 18 fanbase worldwide giving them access to Twitter, Facebook and Last.fm now. The strange part about this though is that those of you in the United States will have to wait until December 15.
If you’re outside the US, you’ll be prompted for an update the next time you sign on to Xbox LIVE. And as I mentioned, if you’re in the US you’ll have to wait until next week.

How many of you actually use these applications from your Xbox 360 console? I did when the preview program was going on but I’ve yet to visit them again. I continue to use my PC for Facebook and Twitter.

To be honest, I don’t use them very much on my xbox. I use Twitter every now and then…But I really don’t use it much at all, it was cool at first, but I would rather just hop on my computer.

Took them long enough, not that I use them at all. I mean, I’ve got my cell phone, and iPod Touch with me all the time, might as well use that so I can play games at the same time while it’s loading or something, and I’ve always got the laptops.

The Facebook is great for viewing friends pics. That is all I use it for. I do use the Last.fm a lot, and so does my Wife.

the only cool part about facebook was that if your friends have a gamertag that you didnt know about and use facebook with the 360 you can see them.

and I also dont understand why MS would block it from people who are under 18 unless the sites themselves dont allow people under 18 to use it.
