Holiday Gamer’s Guide 2009
Action, RPG & Shooters
Borderlands – It mixes all the elements of addiction together so make sure you’re well aware of the fact that you’ll be spending hours upon hours with this game.

Left 4 Dead 2 – I was hoping to have a little of Dead Island this holiday but since I don’t have that game, I’ll have to list Left 4 Dead 2 in the zombie slot for the holidays. And when I say zombie, I don’t mean the slow Return of the Living Dead zombies. Instead, I mean the 28 Days Later “I run faster than Jesse Owens” zombies. Much like the first, this game has zombies that should be track stars but it’s fun.
Dragon Age Origins – Nope I haven’t played it but I think you’d be a fool not to look into this game with all the positive hype surrounding it. It has the design and the gameplay to satisfy all of you RPG addicts out there.
Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2 – It’s leaps and bounds better than the first game and it has all of your favorite Marvel characters in it. What more can you want? I’m a sucker for co-op games and this one does it as good as any before it. Teaming up with your buddies to be the comic book team that you used to fantasize about is awesome. You can create your own version of the X-Men.

Darkest of Days – If you want a change up to the normal FPS on the market, then you should think about a new setting, a new time and a new arsenal of weapons. That’s exactly what you get in Darkest of Days. It’s not going to challenge the heavy hitters this season as the best shooter on the market but it’s definitely the one that offers a change.

Good list thanks.
I likeed Castle Crashers but never played it enough!
Borderlands, well all of U360 loves Borderlands LOL
Be aware Dragon’s Age is an awesome game but the PS3 version IS better. I opted for that one because the 360 doesn’t look as good and has some other graphical issues. See the Gamespot review for more details.
I need to buy that energizer charge station, I have been eyeing it recently!

haven’t played dragon age, but i saw it on the 360. and it looked really bad. i’ve got it for the pc ( yes pirated i know i’m bad. ) but have only made a character yet. and seen the first dialog. it couldn’t grab me like their other games did.

Hi all, – stumbled upon your website unintentionally whilst looking around the web this afternoon, and happy that I did! I do like the layout and colors, but I really should mention that I’m having difficulties when it loads. I’m using iCab 3 internet browser for mac, and the header won’t lineup nicely. i’m confident I have employed a matching design on a client’s online site, but the menu seems O.k. on mine. I suspect the error is at this end and maybe it’s time to upgrade!
