Pandemic Studios Sabotaged, Studio Shut Down
Rumors are often true in this industry so it’s a sad thing that I’m writing right now. Could the makers of the upcoming game, The Saboteur, be on the verge of being shut down? The gas mask vigilantes are known for other titles like Mercenaries as well as Star Wars: Battlefront. They also dished out the more recent LOTR: Conquest.

If this is true, what do we assume will happen with The Saboteur and its release next month? This is becoming an all too common theme in the gaming industry these days. Studios are cutting costs and laying off at a rapid pace it seems. Titles aren’t making the money they’re forecasted to make so it sets things like this in motion.
I’m a firm believer that these studios need to think outside of the box when they’re trying to market these titles. They can’t continue to lean on the usual stagnant stance of “mainstream media” to sell everything. It’ll catch up to them in the end. They have to incorporate something new in order to put these titles in new places and in front of new people. Mainstream media will only go so far.
What say you on these rumors?

yeah i’d imagine their IPs would follow them or EA would simply move their IPs to another house..EA Montreal, EA Canada..or some other studio to continue work on…IF they wanted to continue working on those IPs that is.
