University Collection for Xbox Avatars
My friends at Disruptive Publishers sent a little email this morning about their new University Collection of items for the Avatar Marketplace. I browsed around at the college teams and gear this morning and the stuff looks good. I only saw a pair of Texas sneakers though despite what you see in the image below. Perhaps my Avatar Marketplace was on the bug wagon though. I actually wouldn’t mind sporting a University of Texas jacket but I didn’t see one.
Prices for these items range from 40 Microsoft Points (wristbands) to 240 Microsoft Points (jackets). I can see people eating this up.

They don’t have my alma mater Prairie View A&M University. I told myself I would never spend points on stuff like this but if some PV stuff came up I think I would give in!

Meh, lots of new crap on the Avatar marketplace, what the heck happened to free Avatar content? I know Major Nelson said there will still be free updates on a regular basis. Did he lie?

@Soulfizzy, you guys are having a great season. I’ve been rooting for TCU and other MWC teams this season. I’m a Ute, but I’m glad to see other teams stepping in up in the mountain west.
I’m going to go check out the Utah gear now…

Thank-you, leoele! Just hope the Frogs can finally make it to a BCS bowl game, at the end of the regular season. And I am looking forward to the Utes comin’ into Fort Worth [in a few weeks]…should be a great game! =D
