Modern Warfare 2 Throat Communicator
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 will likely be a huge hit with gamers out there. But are you getting the most authentic experience of the game? Do you want to communicate like the real military does? I present the Modern Warfare 2 Throat Communicator from Mad Catz for $29.99. It’s slated for release on November 10th alongside the game and you can pre-order it at Amazon now.

Infiltrate the realm of state-of-the-art combat with the officially licensed Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Throat Communicator for Xbox 360. Utilizing a military-inspired behind-the-neck design, skirmishes become immersive as you go head-to-head with hostiles on Xbox LIVE.
Comfortable, lightweight and featuring integrated volume/mute controls, the noise-reducing microphone ensures crystal-clear sound quality throughout all your online gaming sessions.
It looks pretty damn cool and if it actually works, playing the game will be ten times more kick ass! I mean it’s a throat communicator for crying out loud! Who doesn’t look the part with a throat communicator? The bad thing is that it doesn’t say what size neck you need to be able to wear this thing. Those with huge necks or extremely small necks proceed with caution. (smile)

Yeah, only reason I’m not getting it. Is because it’s wired. It looks very cool though.

Ahhhh. I remember the days when I had my wireless headset. Those were some short lived days, Ahhhhh. I had my Wireless headset for about 2 months until it crapped out on me. Until they fix and improve upon it, I’m happy with my wired headset. No matter now many times I accidentally unplug it lol.

Wow wut? lol I make some weird ass sounds with my throat during games since I don’t yell expletives when i screw up, if I get this I apologize in advance to the Live community… @_@
To those of you with the official wireless headsets, do they really crap out after a few months of use? I have the X4’s but my head is so big the mic is to far away to talk into lol.

@USB Cable- Mine has worked fine for 1.5 years. no problems, lots of use, and my kids beat it up too.
I will not be getting this headset because it does not work the same way that the real military ones work, so it might be a little messed up.
I might be getting the Madcatz Wired MW2 controller. Those programmable buttons on the back are just what I need to keep up with all the youngsters. I never like taking my fingers off the stick to reload/melee/zoom or what ever.

I saw where there is one used one they guys says it wouldn’t fit his neck. I have a 19 1/2 in. neck so I don’t think im going to attempt it.
