Kontrol Freek, Freekin’ Out Control
You’re all probably used to playing a certain way right? And I bet you’re all thinking that you’ve reached your gaming peak right? I thought the same thing to actually and one day I decided to give these little gadgets that I heard about a try. I wouldn’t call them gadgets but rather accessories for your controllers. FPS Freek for you first person shooter fans and SpeedFreek for the racers in the crowd.

What they’re supposed to do is help you with each genre and believe it or not these things actually work! (especially the SpeedFreek) I didn’t notice an amazing difference while playing but I did notice that I was moving along better when I had the FPS Freek attached and the corners during some NFS Shift were easier to navigate with the SpeedFreeks.
I imagine if there are some professional players out there that you’ll want any advantage so these may be worth looking into. If you’re a casual gamer like myself and you just like cool looking attachments on your controller, then go for it…they’re reasonably priced.

They’re probably fine for the 360, but I know that these sorts of attachments for the PSP can break the stick, if you’re not careful. I saw these about a year back, and they did seem like a cool idea, if a little unnecessary…

Am I the only one thinking why did this post just appear, after the newer ones but before them lol? Anyway, I’ve never bought anything apart from accesories that come with the console. Am I missing out on stuff like this?

I swear by these. My kdr in World at War jumped a good bit when I started using these. Much easier to make fine adjustments.
