wow!! great review man probably best honestly i totally agree on the 8.5 because matchmaking totally brings the game a step down BUT!!!! Im glad there is a mode that you cant ever get tired of. on halo 3 i was geting tired of the same old campaighn when i was at my moms house and we didnt have internet (parents divorced) but now i can play firefight as long as i want and not get bored i also really like how in firefight they give you stuff like double kills and killionares and killing sprees ao you feel like you are really kicking alien ass!!! im going to get my odst soon but untill then its just playing halo on legendary for practice!!!

The only that I don’t really get is the game kind of breaks the technology progression of Halo 2. It is like Star Wars Episode 1 going back in time but having more sleeker looking ships. Makes no sense.

well everything fizzles out at some point but i still play Gears of War 2 Horde all the time.

I never played Halo 3. Should I skip it and just go right to ODST? Will this have a good Live longevity or will it fizzle out like Gears kind of did.

I haven’t finished the campaign yet, but I really enjoy the story and different feel from Halo 1,2,3.

great game and great review, but the problem i have with the game is that you cant matchmake in firefight, soo frustrating when you cant play it with anyone else seeing as everyone on my friends list lives half way round the world, argh!
