ODST, HEROES Returns!
Hello everyone and welcome to another clip of Monday Morning Scripted. I’ll be your guide as we go through what turned out to be an up and down weekend for me. It all started with receiving a copy of Halo 3: ODST on Friday. It may have been Thursday but I can’t quite remember when I got it. I’ve played a bit of it and as I mentioned during PAX, it feels rather different than Halo 3 which is a good thing.

I didn’t expect Bungie to be able to deliver an experience separate from Halo 3 but they did. They took the Call of Duty model that many of you enjoy and fused it into Halo 3: ODST by letting you play through the eyes of a few ODST’s. I liked that approach to the Halo universe. I hope to have a review for you guys to read soon.
The biggest news of the weekend though was the fact that it ended and now it is time for one of my favorite shows to return. Let’s go HEROES on NBC! I’ve been eagerly anticipating the return of HEROES. Yes, that’s an understatement because you all should know that I’m a huge fan of the show. It looks to be exciting this year as they introduce someone other than Sylar to be the bad guy.
Be sure to make a note of the time change for HEROES. It comes on now at 7PM CST / 8PM EST. It’ll be a 2-hour premiere tonight. I’ll have to record HOUSE now because there is no way I’m missing HEROES.
That’s about all the excitement out of me this weekend. I did watch the boring Mayweather fight. And I also watch the Cowboys lose. My daughter did awesome though on her first cheerleading experience at a real game. The team she cheered for won the game 36-0. I’d like to think it was due to the fact that my daughter and her cheerleading squad were awesome.
How are you?

I can’t wait to get ODST tomorrow (fingers crossed Amazon.com does in fact have it delivered for tomorrow)! I anticipate playing it and replaying the campaign as much as the first three Halo installments. If true, then I’ll end up paying about $0.02/hour.
As for my weekend, I finished Batman: Arkham Asylum, spent some time at the beach with my wife, rode my Ducati 1098 and did a bit of work. Overall, a good weekend.

Pimp_Method, Halo 3 was also same amount of time. Plus with multiplayer there’s a lot more playtime in it. Don’t just diss it immediately because of single player alone lol

I’m so stoked for ODST, I’ve got to wait a week though since I have to wait until this weekend to see my friend and then he’s going to the MS employee store to get it for me. *sigh*. Oh well it’s worth the savings!

it’s not the playtime you should worry about, even a short game can be good.

So honestly how is it so far? I know it is no BioShock but it has to be somewhat decent.
