Me, Salem and Rios Inside The 40th Day
One of the coolest aspects of what I do here at Unscripted 360 is that I’m lucky enough to see some cool shit and participate in some even cooler events. EA had a pre-PAX community event for Army of Two: The 40th Day and Danger and I got to hang out with the real Salem and Rios! I almost got away with one of those famous masks but the guns they had convinced me to leave them on the table.

We also got a chance to sit down, relax and play some 40th Day without worrying about long lines. The game has only gotten better and better each time I’ve seen it. The GPS is a great new feature to the game. Salem and Rios’ co-op options have also been increased giving you a lot of tools to play with and even more ways to tackle a situation. You can go in guns blazing (like me most of the time) or you can do a more tactical approach.
Using the GPS you can identify which enemy is the guy in charge and if you secure him, then the rest of his squad will fold. It helps to keep you away from unnecessary fire.
A couple of really cool announcements were made during the event that I think will give fans even more of a reason to bring The 40th Day home. They have a new weapon customization tool that lets you do just about any combination of customizing you want. It’s perhaps the deepest tool used in an action game that I’ve seen. You can change just about every aspect of a weapon and improve it.
The other announcement was the fact that you’ll be able to create your own mask to wear in the game! They’re releasing a mask creator tool much like the one for skate 2 that allows you to design your very own mask! Yep, I can vision a classic U360 death mask.
